Our story began with a simple need for better sleep…
Hi there! I’m Lulu Suen, the runner of silksuen.com.
About one year ago, I bought the first ever mulberry silk in my life for my husband. At that time, he had just started his night shifts. For around a month, he struggled to sleep because of the daylight that could not be blocked out. To help him sleep better, we tried several eye masks, but they were either uncomfortable or too tight. The problem persisted until we met a mulberry silk sleep mask. The lightweight, soft mask brought my husband the best sleep he’d ever had in a month and opened my eyes to how wonderful this fabric truly is.
I started exploring more silk products, like pillowcases, hair ties, and sheets. They were a little more expensive, but I realized how much better they felt compared to other fabrics. I enjoy the way silk takes care of my skin and hair and the benefits it brings to my health and beauty. Until one day, it struck me that, with all the wonderful benefits of silk, why not share it with more people? And this is how we start silksuen.com.
