Silk Clean Methods

Although silk is a delicate fabric, it is not as fragile as you think. There are several ways to clean your silk easily, and the most recommended one is handwash. Here is how you do it:

1. Fill a washtub with lukewarm water (about 86℉).
2. Add a small amount of neutral silk-friendly detergent and mix.
3. Turn your silk inside out, soak it in the mixture for 3–5 minutes and gently swish it to clean.
4. Rinse the silk with clean, lukewarm water for several times until no detergent remains.
5. Roll the silk in a clean cotton towel and gently press out excess water.
6. Air dry the silk in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
